Jane runs on the business's own domain: the booking or the order lands with the business, which stays the merchant of record. An agent that reaches the site can act there.
No. Jane's terms of use (July 2026) forbid harvesting or collecting information from the services by any robot, spider, crawler or program without Jane's written consent; no agent booking path is documented.
Read 2026-10-15 from jane.app/terms. The vendor's consumer terms prohibit bots or automated means, so an agent booking or ordering there acts against them. The vendor's own page wins over anything written here; write to hello@directindex.org to correct it. All vendors: vendor terms for agents.
A browser opens the direct booking or ordering page and looks for the controls an agent needs (date, time, party size, add to cart, prices); it never fills or submits anything.
