aleno runs on the business's own domain: the booking or the order lands with the business, which stays the merchant of record. An agent that reaches the site can act there.
Not stated. aleno's terms of use (April 2021, for restaurant account holders) say nothing about bots or automated booking; its reservation API is opened per restaurant account.
Read 2026-10-15 from www.aleno.me/de/tos. The terms say nothing about automated use, could not be read on the date given, or the vendor has not been researched yet. The vendor's own page wins over anything written here; write to hello@directindex.org to correct it. All vendors: vendor terms for agents.
A browser opens the direct booking or ordering page and looks for the controls an agent needs (date, time, party size, add to cart, prices); it never fills or submits anything.
