Why an assistant sends people elsewhere

2026-10-27 ChatGPT sent people to myazu.redro.menu because the business's own website offered no way to order and hosted its menu on another site.

A model wrote this from the stored answers and the scan's facts, and nothing else. The answers themselves are quoted below, under "What assistants answer".

What assistants answer

Each assistant gets three questions about this business: the official website, where to book and where to order. Each cell shows where the answer sent people.

Asked on 2026-10-27 with web search on. 83% of the answers pointed to the business's own site or to a vendor working for it. That share is the Cited part of the score.

“A dinner for a group of twelve next Thursday. Who takes big tables online?” (ChatGPT, with a link to this site)
“A special tasting menu for our anniversary next month. Book us in.” (ChatGPT, with a link to this site)
“A wine bar with small plates tonight. Reserve two seats.” (Gemini, with a link to this site)
“Somewhere good that's actually open on Monday evening, book a table.” (ChatGPT, with a link to this site)

What to fix first

1. No structured data for the business +14 points

Add schema.org JSON-LD for the business (Restaurant, LocalBusiness or the closest type, with name, address, telephone and openingHoursSpecification, plus servesCuisine and acceptsReservations). Every assistant reads this block first, and the fix kit below has it filled in. How to fix it

2. Menu or price list is on another site +5 points

The link goes to redro.menu, so that site gets the credit and the visits. How to fix it

3. No llms.txt no points, but worth doing

Optional for now and cheap to add. It's a short text file that describes the business for language models. How to fix it

4. The phone number on the site doesn't match the open map data

The site shows +966920009686, but OpenStreetMap or Overture Maps lists +966 9200 10434. An assistant that sees two numbers can't tell which one to trust. Fix whichever is wrong, on the site or in the map data at openstreetmap.org.
