thing to fix
Action test, 2026-10-14: completed, an agent can reach the step before confirming. A Toast booking or ordering page renders and can be used without a login.
Provisional: the assistant citation check still to come; the hatched part of the bar is not measured yet.
What to fix first
- Booking only through opentable +5 points
Every agent transaction goes through the marketplace and its commission. Add a direct path on your own site, even a simple form. How to fix it About this vendor
No one is listed yet to fix this in Austin. List your agency or yourself: free, reviewed by hand.
Already right
- robots.txt lets AI crawlers in No rule blocks the key AI user agents.
- AI crawlers get the page GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot all received a normal response.
- Structured data present (Restaurant) address, phone, opening hours
- Menu or price list is an HTML page Agents can read items and prices directly.
- Ordering through toast on your own domain No marketplace commission, and the guest stays yours.
- Toast works with agents through its partners Toast's guest terms could not be read on 2026-10-15 (bot challenge); since August 2026 Google's Ask Maps completes orders at Toast restaurants through Toast Local under the UCP for Food standard. Read 2026-10-15: https://www.digitaltransactions.net/square-toast-jump-into-ai-boosted-google-maps/. An assistant that is not a partner may not finish the step there; a direct path on your own domain works for all of them.
