Despite never dining in a restaurant growing up, his love for cooking and his tenacious nature forged an unstoppable path for the award-winning chef. From a young age, chef Greenaway cultivated his passion for cooking whilst working at some of the finest dining establishments around the world, including One Devonshire Gardens where his determination and passion led him to be the only chef in Scotland to be newly awarded 3 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence in 2012. From early on in his career chef Greenaway has always found his inspiration through working with seasonal Scottish ingredients, experimenting with flavours, using only the best local produce, and applying modern techniques to transform the simplest ingredients into something unique. This unique and before his time approach, led chef Greenaway to open his eponymous award-winning restaurant, Restaurant Mark Greenaway, in North Castle Street in Edinburgh in 2013 which became the highest ranked Scottish restaurant by Square Meal in the UK in 2017. Later in 2019, he opened Grazing by Mark Greenaway, in Edinburgh’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel offering guests a leisurely and relaxed dining experience whilst providing them with the finest fresh ingredients from local suppliers in Scotland. His newest venture Pivot, opened in 2021 and can be found in the charming five-storey townhouse, 3 Henrietta Street right in the heart of Covent Garden. Pivot&r
