Why the assistants send people elsewhere
One sentence on why
2026-10-27 Both ChatGPT and Gemini sent users to TheFork to book because the business's website contained no booking link or structured data.
A model wrote this from the stored answers and the scan's facts, and nothing else. The answers themselves are quoted below, under "What assistants answer".
What assistants answer
Each assistant gets three questions about this business: the official website, where to book and where to order. Each cell shows where the answer sent people.
| Assistant | Official website? | Where to book? | Where to order? |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | other site: www.oclassicorestaurante.pt | marketplace: thefork | other site: www.oclassicorestaurante.pt |
| Gemini | other site: oclassicorestaurante.pt | marketplace: thefork | directory: google_maps |
Asked on 2026-10-27 with web search on. 0% of the answers pointed to the business's own site or to a vendor working for it. That share is the Cited part of the score.
The assistants were asked 29 everyday questions about Funchal and named 112 places. O Clássico wasn't one of them. See who was named →

After the top fixes
With the three fixes above (No structured data for the business; No booking or ordering link on the website; No menu or price list found), the score would be about 72.9%. That would be 31st of 131 in Funchal, up from 111th.
What to fix first
- No structured data for the business +14 points
Add schema.org JSON-LD for the business (Restaurant, LocalBusiness or the closest type, with name, address, telephone and openingHoursSpecification, plus servesCuisine and acceptsReservations). Every assistant reads this block first, and the fix kit below has it filled in. How to fix it
- No booking or ordering link on the website +13 points
There's only a phone number or WhatsApp, and agents can't use those yet. If you take bookings or orders through a platform, link to it from the site so agents can find it. Add a booking or ordering page. How to fix it
- No menu or price list found +7 points
Agents answer 'what do they offer?' from marketplaces instead. Add a page with the menu or price list and link to it from the homepage. How to fix it
- No llms.txt no points, but worth doing
Optional for now and cheap to add. It's a short text file that describes the business for language models. How to fix it
- The phone number on the site doesn't match the open map data
The site shows 291706790, but OpenStreetMap or Overture Maps lists 291 774 111. An assistant that sees two numbers can't tell which one to trust. Fix whichever is wrong, on the site or in the map data at openstreetmap.org.
