Sidebar at Surdyk's | Minneapolis, MN top of pageAT SURDYK'SMENU side•barnoun 1. An area in a courtroom near the judge’s bench where lawyers may be called to speak with the judge so that the jury cannot hear the conversation and/or they may speak off the record. 2. A modern bar and restaurant located in the iconic NE Minneapolis landmark, Surdyk’s. A neighborhood spot serving thoughtful food and drink, with seasonally rotating menus showcasing the best ingredients available in the adjoining retail spaces. The kind of place where conversations are, as in a courtroom setting, always considered strictly off the record. SURDYK'S has been keeping the Twin Cities in good spirits since 1934. We invite you to experience our newest venture, Sidebar. Situated in the back corner of our flagship store on University and East Hennepin in Northeast Minneapolis, Sidebar serves up lunch and dinner—plus snacks for afternoon and late-night dining. The food menu is complemented by a frequently changing beverage program featuring a wide selection of classic & offbeat wines—all available by the glass or bottle, twelve taps of local beers, and expertly crafted cocktails. Owned and operated by the fourth generation of the Surdyk family, Sidebar offers the very best of what we know and love in a warm, sophisticated setting. We look forward to serving you. JOIN US 303 E.
